Keeping the heat in and the cold out during winter. Combine all the components together and this will provide you with a well insulated lid. It also should help with reducing condensation in the lid.

Square lid surrounds together and pre-drill with 1/8th drill bit to prevent splitting the wood.
Then screw lid surrounds together. Once assembled attach lid surrounds to weathertex lid cover.
Paint inside and out with 2 coats.
nail Gal lid cover to lid.
Attach lid vents to the inside of the lid.
Your lid is now complete.
